Types Of Gaming Chairs

So, today, we decided to show you the 4 main types of gaming chairs so you can understand the differences between them and pick the best gaming chair for you.

Different Types Of Gaming Chairs

#1: PC Gaming Chairs:

The first type of gaming chair is the PC gaming chair. PC gaming chairs are probably what immediately comes to your mind when you think of a gaming chair.

If you look closely, you can see that a PC gaming chair is very similar to an office chair. And it makes perfect sense. After all, both chairs are supposed to allow you to sit for multiple hours straight with comfort and support.

Most PC gaming chairs come with a 5-star wheeled base with a pedestal seat mounted on top and they allow you o swivel 360 degrees. They also include armrests and some of them come with footrests so that you can relax your legs as well.

Almost all PC gaming chairs are set in an upright position as default, but many can tilt backward and lock in various reclined positions.

#2: Console Gaming Chairs:

The second most popular type of gaming chair on the market is the console gaming chair.

As you can immediately tell by its name, these gaming chairs are meant for console video games.

One of the main differences between these two types of gaming chairs is the fact that while the first one includes a pedestal, with the second one you will sit pretty near the floor.

Console gaming chairs tend to feature L-shaped seats that sit directly on your floor.

One of the things that is important mentioning is the fact that console gaming chairs are less ergonomic than PC gaming chairs and aren’t meant to be used at a desk. Besides, they also often feature additional technology that integrates them more closely with your console such as surround sound speakers and USB ports for charging.
